Carl Wollbrink, 21, of Quincy, passed away at 10:06 Monday evening, September 9, 2013 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.

Carl was born January 14, 1992, the son of Brian and Linda (Lamb) Wollbrink in Olympia, Washington. He graduated from Warsaw High School in 2010 and was employed at Fierge Auto in Quincy. Carl was a member of FFA and 4-H growing up. He enjoyed all types of hunting and especially bow hunting. Carl was a member of the NRA and was also a member of The Crossing at 48th and Maine in Quincy.

Carl is survived by his parents, Brian and Linda Wollbrink of Warsaw; a sister, Crystal (Matt) Clark of Garland, Texas; a brother, Dale, of the United States Army; grandparents, Elvin and Sue Wollbrink of Tioga and Ruth Lamb of Quincy; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Carl was known for his charming, magnetic personality and readily available and enveloping hugs.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Morris Lamb.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday evening, September 17, 2013 at The Crossing at 48th and Maine in Quincy. Family will meet friends from 3:00 P.M. until time of services at the church on Tuesday. Memorials may be directed to the Rockford Ball Association (Light Fund).
