Dalea “Dee” Barragan, 59, of Warsaw, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at Aperion Nursing Home in East Moline, Illinois.

Dee was born on April 13, 1960, in San Diego, California, the daughter of George and Jan (Townsend) Barragan. She was a genuine people person, and was loved by everyone she met. She would often drive through Warsaw, saying hi to everyone she saw. Her greatest passion was gardening and making flowers bloom. She enjoyed spending time with her animals and playing scratch-off tickets.

Dee is survived by her mother Jan (Jim) Phillips of Warsaw, Illinois; her significant other of twenty years Stan Howes of Warsaw, Illinois; her son Michael (Tasha) Harrison of Seattle, Washington; her brother Jimmy Barragan of Warsaw; and two step-brothers: James David Phillips of Warsaw and Ronald E. (Suzanne) Phillips of San Diego, California. Other survivors include many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dee is preceded in death by her father George and her sister Tina Rene Barragan.

According to her wishes, no services will be held.
