Daniel D. "Danny" Dale

Daniel D. “Danny” Dale, 62, of Ferris, passed away at his home Sunday morning, October 20, 2019.

Danny was born August 16, 1957, the son of Charles “Charlie” David and Sandra Sue (Ankrom) Dale.  Sandra passed away at a young age and he was raised by Barbara Toschlog.  He graduated from Carthage High School in 1977 and immediately began his drywall and painting business which he ran until his health prevented it.  He was united in marriage to Donna Rae Gunn on May 21, 1977 in Carthage.  Danny loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time on the boat.

Danny is survived by two daughters, Diana (Jeremy) Wright of Carthage and Darcy (Jason) Cox of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; grandchildren, Brylee, LeeVi and Kollby Dale, Remington and Kinleigh Cox and Ryker Wright; his mom, Barbara Toschog; seven siblings, David Dale of Carthage, Doug (Teena) Dale of Hagerstown, Indiana, Dana (Tracy) Peacock of Frankfort, Kentucky, Denessa (Abel) Rojas of Liberty, Indiana, Stacy (Bob) Bivens of Connersville, Indiana, Jimmy Lang of Hagerstown, Indiana and Mark Lang of Winchester, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Charlie and Sandra; his wife, Donna; a son, Dustin “Dusty” Dale; and two sisters, Debra Cox and Vonda Dale.
