Donna Rae Dale

Donna R. Dale, 62, of Ferris, Illinois, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 4:22 P.M. at her home.

 Donna was born March 15, 1956, the daughter of Phillip and Mynetta (Riffle) Gunn in Carthage, Illinois.  She graduated from Carthage High School.  On May 21, 1977, she was united in marriage to Daniel D. Dale in Carthage.  Donna was a dedicated, hard worker as a mixing technician at Henniges Automotive in Keokuk for 42 years.  She was a member of Local #444.  Donna loved being a grandmother.  She was a thoughtful giving person that always thought of others first.

Donna is survived by her husband, Daniel of Ferris; two daughters, Diana (Jeremy) Wright of Carthage and Darcy (Jason) Cox of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; six grandchildren, Brylee, LeeVi and Kollby Dale, Remington and Kinleigh Cox and Ryker Wright; nine brothers and sisters, Tom, Jim, Tim, Mike and Paul Gunn, Frances Gibbons, Christina Lundsford, Marie Londrie and Loretta Harper; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a son, Dustin “Dusty” Dale; her parents; a brother, Joe Gunn; and two sisters, Mynetta Rose Gunn and Theresa Martens.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. Saturday evening, November 10, 2018 at the Carthage V.F.W.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family of Donna R. Dale.  Printy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
