Jenny M. (Hageman) Tillman

Jenny M. Tillman, 43, of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2018, at her home in Hamilton. 

Jenny was born on February 14, 1975, in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Kevin and Mary (Real) Hageman. On August 17, 1991, she was united in marriage to Tim Tillman in Carthage, Illinois. He survives. 

An active member of Living Waters Assembly of God in Keokuk, Jenny used her musical talents to serve as a worship leader and pianist on the worship team. She also served as a youth leader and in children’s ministries. Jenny taught piano lessons and ran a daycare, but her passion was serving the Lord and raising her children. She loved her family deeply.

Jenny is survived by her husband Tim Tillman; four children: Christina, Lori, Mark and Melissa Tillman; her parents Kevin and Mary Hageman; her sister Denise Joy (Chad) Kersey and family; her brother David (Kylie) Hageman and family; her grandparents William “Delbert” (Mary) Real; her in-laws Robert and Barbara Tillman; three brothers-in-law: Randall (Carol) Tillman, Daniel (Angie) Tillman, and Alan (Alicia) Tillman; and her sister-in-law Carol (Aslam) Hassan. Other survivors include many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jenny is preceded in death by her sister Michelle Lee Hageman and her niece Alleyna Joy Kersey.

Jenny’s life will be celebrated with a funeral service at 2 pm on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at Living Waters Assembly of God in Keokuk, with a private family graveside following at Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm at Living Waters Assembly of God Church in Keokuk.
