Jimmie Repplinger Obituary

Jimmie Lou Bowness Repplinger, 80, passed away April 22 at Wesley Village, Wilmore, Kentucky where she resided since 2011. She was born June 10, 1937 in Eldon, Missouri to the late William and Lucille Crigler. She graduated from Christian College (now Columbia College) in 1957 and married Roger Bowness that same year.

Jimmie Lou volunteered much of her time with various organizations in her church, First Christian Church of Eldon and her community. She was a 60 year member of P.E.O.

She also created anything she could with either a sewing needle, a paint brush, or knitting needles.

After leaving Eldon in 1988, Jimmie Lou married the late Robert Repplinger and moved to Hamilton, Illinois. They loved to travel and visit their grandchildren.

Jimmie Lou is survived by her daughter Rona and husband Bill Hogan, Fulshear, Texas, three granddaughters: Kara and husband Chris Ritchie, Amarillo, Texas, Kylee and husband Patrick Ford, Richmond, Texas, and Kasey Hogan, Houston, Texas, and two great grandchildren, Daniel and James Ritchie. She is also survived by her brother Bill Crigler, Costa Mesa, California, and Rona's father, Roger Bowness, Maywood, Missouri.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton. Visitation will take place at Printy Funeral Home in Hamilton from 12 to 1:30 pm on Saturday directly before the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wesley Village, 1125 Lexington Rd, Wilmore, KY, 40390.
