Judi (Campbell) Carel, 59, of Hamilton, Illinois, died of lung cancer on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at her home.

Judi was born on April 17, 1959, in Martin’s Ferry, Ohio, to Barbara (Campbell) Egley and Everett Campbell. She first married Jim Carel in 1988, and again in 2008.

Judi is survived by her husband Jim Carel, her stepdaughter Jadelyn Carel, her fierce protector Sarah the dog, her mother Barbara Egley, her sister Jenny Schlicher, her brother Zack Campbell, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Judi is preceded in death by her father Everett Campbell and son in infancy, Jarrod Michael.

A private service will be held at a later date.
