Kimberly Jean (Dulaney) Powelson, 51, of Keokuk, formerly of Hamilton, passed away on June 18, 2018, at Mississippi Terrace in Keokuk.
Kimberly was born on November 18, 1966, in Mount Vernon, Washington, the daughter of Ronald and Yvonne (Guyatt) Dulaney. She worked at Methode in Carthage for many years and was also employed as a CNA at LaHarpe-Davier Healthcare Center. She spent her free time watching soap operas, especially Days of our Lives and Desperate Housewives, and taking care of her beloved dog, Mikki. Her life revolved around Mikki.
Kimberly is survived by her son Chase Allen Dale Newlon of Keokuk, Iowa; her brother Michael Dulaney of Hamilton, Illinois; her aunt Pat (Dave) Wagner of Augusta, Illinois; her uncle Dale (Donna) Dulaney of Nevada; her cousin Angela Donnell of California; and her dog Mikki. Other survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kimberly is preceded in death by her parents, her son Nathain Raymond Dulaney, and her brother Ronald Dulaney.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018, from 2 to 7 pm, with family meeting friends from 5 to 7 pm at Printy Funeral Home in Hamilton.
