Linda Finton Obituary

Linda Irene Finton, 62, of Carthage passed away at 9:00 P.M. Monday evening, August 20, 2018.

Linda was born December 21, 1955, the daughter of James and Helen (Phillips) Sanderson in Carthage, Illinois. She was a member of the Burnside Christian Church and Carthage Eagle’s Club.

She is survived by two daughters, Shannon (Tyson Fussell) Finton of Quincy and Kelli (Gregg) Dantin of Bay City, Texas; three grandchildren, Trevor Finton and Tatiana and Jackson Dantin; four brothers, Ron Sanderson, Tom (Hazel) Sanderson, Mark Sanderson of Carthage and Fred Sanderson of San Antonio, Texas; one sister, Carol (Larry) Lemley of Carthage; and one sister-in-law, Donna Sanderson of Carthage; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Misty Finton; life partner, Gary Huls; and a brother, Dave Sanderson.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. at the Burnside Christian Church on Wednesday morning, August 29, 2018. Printy Funeral Home of Carthage is in charge of arrangements.
