Nancy L. Jones

Nancy L. Jones, 70, of LaHarpe, passed away at 3:36 A.M. Sunday, May 13, 2018, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.

Nancy was born November 29, 1947, the daughter of Curtis and Wanita (Jones) Wood in Montour Falls, New York.  On January 25, 1964, she was united in marriage to Gale Jones in Milan, Illinois.  She loved fishing, spending time outside with her family and cookouts.  Her favorite flowers were lilacs.

Nancy is survived by two sons, Troy and Todd Jones, both of LaHarpe; one daughter, Kellie Jones (Edward) Stewart of LaHarpe; one sister, Helen Kirby of Lincoln, Iowa; seven grandchildren, Michael Jones, Brittany Smith, Mackenzie and Michaela Duffy, Andrew, Anthony and Ambria Jones; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gale, on April 15, 2004; and four siblings.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Thursday evening, May 17, 2018 at Printy Funeral Home in Carthage.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be directed to the family of Nancy L. Jones and will be used for funeral expenses.  Printy Funeral Home of Carthage is in charge of arrangements.
