Norma Koechle Obituary

Norma Koechle, 68, of Nauvoo, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Montebello Healthcare Center in Hamilton, Illinois.

Norma was born on November 17, 1949, in Hamilton, Illinois, the daughter of Harold and Oriole (Ort) Koechle. A lifelong resident of Hancock County, Norma attended the First Christian Church in Hamilton for many years. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, and loved her dogs dearly.

Norma is survived by her daughter Tamara “Tammy” Kaye Brockman of Hamilton; her long-time companion Dwight Estes of Nauvoo; her granddaughter McKenzie Kaye Schwab of Hamilton; two brothers: David (Marcia) Koechle of Nauvoo and Eldon (Judy) Koechle of Lebanon, Illinois; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents.

Norma’s life will be celebrated with a visitation on Friday, November 2, 2018, with family meeting friends from 5 to 8 pm at Printy Funeral Home in Hamilton. Burial at Oak Grove Cemetery in rural Hamilton will follow at a later date.

Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society, PAWS in Fort Madison, or Unity Point Hospice.
