Steven Sanderson Obituary

Steven Sanderson, 53, of West Point, Illinois passed away at 6:00 A.M. Friday morning, February 22, 2019, at his home in West Point.

 

Steven was born February 13, 1966, the son of Ramon and Barbara (Harron) Sanderson in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.  He graduated from Wayne High School in 1984.  He was united in marriage to Sandra Moore in Quincy.  She survives.  Steven had worked for the Ulrich Pallet Company in Quincy. Steven enjoyed taking care of his cats and especially working on cars.

 

Steven is survived by his wife, Sandra, of West Point; eight children, Shawn Sanderson of Columbia City, Indiana, Marlayna (Buddy) Speirs of Quincy, Amber (Chance) Marshall of Quincy, Barbara “Barbie” Morse of Canton, Missouri, Annabelle (Zach) Tuter of West Point, Illinois, Alex Nokes of Missouri, Steven Sanderson of West Point, Illinois and Kassandra “Kassie” Sanderson of West Point, Illinois; thirteen grandchildren; his mother, Barbara Sanderson of Indiana; five siblings, Diane (Burney), Buck Sanderson of Indiana, Ronnie  of Indiana, Ray (Denise) Sanderson of Ohio and Faith (Tim) Till of Indiana; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, Ramon; a sister, Millie; and a brother, Teddy.

 

At Steven’s request there will be no services.  Memorials may be directed to the Blessing Foundation for the cancer center.  Printy Funeral Home of Carthage is in charge of arrangements.
