Sue Ebert

Sue Ebert of Carthage, IL died at Unity Point Health-Memorial Hospital on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 8:10 A.M. She was born on April 29th, 1947 at the local hospital in LaHarpe, IL, now known as LaHarpe Davier Nursing Home. She is the daughter of Floyd "Fox" and Leta Matthews.

On July 29th, 1965 she married Ronald Crank. Together they welcomed two daughters. They divorced in 1976. She later married John Ebert on 6/18/1977.

She is survived by daughters Heather Crank of Ferris, IL and Hillary (Rich) Sealock of Carthage, IL; two granddaughters, Savannah (Neiko) Brockett, of Lomax, IL, and Skylar Sealock, of Carthage, IL, along with 2 great grand children, Marley and Axton Brockett; one brother, Jerry (Jolene) Mathews of Davenport, IA; one niece, Erin (David) Jensen; and one nephew, Ben (Oni) Mathews and their children.

Her parents and sister, Pat Mathews, preceded her in death.

She was an amazing mother and "mimi" and will be missed beyond words.

Visitation will be held at Printy Funeral Home, Carthage, IL, on Friday, September 20, 2019 from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Thornber Cemetery in Powellton, IL.  Friends and family are welcome to attend.

Memorials may be made to Unity Point Health-Memorial Hospital or Hancock county Dog Pound-Animal Control.
