Virginia Lee Kimbrough, 84, of Warsaw, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at Montebello Healthcare Center in Hamilton.
Virginia was born on August 10, 1934, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of John William Henry and Lulu (Anderson) Happs. In June of 1954, she was united in marriage to Leo Edward Kimbrough at Trinity United Methodist Church in Warsaw, Illinois, by Reverend J. E. Van Dyke. He preceded her in death on July 17, 2018.
Virginia moved with her parents to Warsaw in 1944 and remained in the same home until her passing. She loved her gardens and flowers, and worked diligently in her yard during the spring, summer and fall. During the winter her home and garage became greenhouses. She was also an artist and painted many pictures for her home. She desired to be a professional artist.
Virginia is survived by her sister-in-law Betty Vincent of Fort Madison, Iowa; four nieces and one nephew.
Virginia is preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
Private graveside services will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton.
