William Tripp Obituary

William “Marvin” Tripp, Sr. went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 30th, 2018 at 5am. He was surrounded by his family as he took his final breath here on earth and his first breath in Heaven. He is the son of Lulabelle (Clark) Tripp and William Tripp born on November 17, 1936. On June 16th, 1958, he married the love of his life Georgia Earlene (Ross) Tripp who proceeded him to Heaven on January 18th, 2008. He was a master of many trades and owned the Wild Horse in Warsaw.
Marvin and Georgia had almost 50 years of marriage and 7 children: William Marvin Tripp Jr., (proceeded to Heaven February 1, 2009); Marva Jo (Robert) McLaughlin; Terry Ray (Carol Grove) Tripp; Sherry Kay (John) Morton; Kim Elizabeth (Steve) Brumbaugh; (proceeded to Heaven November 24, 2004); Ginger Lou Ann (Eric) White; Trena Elaine (Henry) Cross; 23 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren (30 since mom went to Heaven)!
Today we live in a world where as Christians we were never meant to experience death. Adam and Eve were made eternal beings and God never intended them nor were we to experience the emotion of grief. We have the “hardware” just not the “software”.
Though we may shed tears and miss our loved ones we may rejoice! Yes rejoice as today we do not say goodbye rather we say “see you later daddy!”. We have this HOPE that only comes from knowing and being a part of the family of God. You see daddy gave the most precious gift he could give to his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, he accepted Jesus as His personal Savior on July 29th, 2018 (momma’s birthday!) Yes we will see you again daddy! Yes and Amen!
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, August 3, 2018, at Printy Funeral Home in Warsaw, with burial to follow at Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 to 8 pm.
