Alene Miller Obituary Alene M. Miller, 64, of Keokuk, died at 6:50 P.M. Wednesday, August 6, 2003, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois. Mrs. Miller was born March 19, 1939, the daughter of Paul and Florence Jones. She married Ralph Miller on July 13, 1979. She had lived in Keokuk for 40 years and was employed for over 20 years with Community Action as Family Development Specialist. She was a member of Southside Boat Club. She enjoyed computer games, flowers, gardening, and especially loved cats. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Miller of Keokuk; a son, Paul George and his wife, Brandy, of Keokuk; a daughter, Michele Samuelson and her husband, Tim, of Durant, Iowa; a stepson, Harold A. Miller and his wife, Katherine, of Watts, Oklahoma; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services were held at Monday, August 11, 2003, at DeJong's Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Burton officiating. Burial was in Keokuk National Cemetery.
