Betty Dooley Obituary Betty Dooley, 73, of Willard, Missouri and formerly of Keokuk, died Sunday, October 13, 2002 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. Betty Dooley was born on August 11, 1929 in Keokuk, Iowa. She was the daughter of George and Faye Nichols Batley. She married Donald Bruns. She later married Bill Dooley in 1975. He preceded her in death in 1996. She lived for many years in the Springfield, Missouri area. She loved sewing, quilting, and dining out. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Eudora Baptist Church in Willard, Missouri. Survivors include a son, Keith Garcia, of Springfield, Missouri; two brothers, Larry Batley of Glassford, Illinois and Gary Michael Batley of Wayland, Missouri; three sisters, Geraldine Johnson of Keokuk, Iowa, Aera Ringhouse of Hamilton, Illinois and Linda Hagmeier of Keokuk, Iowa; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill Dooley; two sons; one daughter; two sisters; and two brothers. Graveside services will be Saturday, October 19, 2002 at 1:00 P.M. at Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw, Illinois with Pastor Dale Thomas officiating. Inurnment will follow the service.
