Cindy Boyd Obituary Cindy Fay Boyd, 42, of Keokuk, died Friday evening, June 16, 2006, at her home. Ms. Boyd was born October 12, 1964 in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Charles Wayne and Vivian Lee Finton Boyd. She was a lifelong resident of Keokuk. She attended New Testament Christian Church. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends; she loved nature, going for walks, crossword puzzles and Bingo. When she was young, she liked to challenge her Grandfather Boyd in a game of checkers. She is survived by her parents; a brother, Doug W. Boyd of Keokuk; three sisters, Laura Boyd Mead, Kim Boyd Brewer and Amy Boyd of Keokuk; nieces and nephews, Brandon Mead, Timothy Mead and his wife, Leann, Tyann Brewer, Cory Brewer, Emily Londrie and Abigail Londrie; great niece, Katelyn Mead; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by a son, Austin Joseph Boyd, on February 1, 1990; paternal grandparents, Raymond F. and Alma L. Boyd, maternal grandmother, Kathryn E. Hall; and maternal grandfather, Albert Finton. Funeral services were Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at DeJong's Funeral Home with Pastor Sylvia Tillman officiating. Burial was at Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk. A memorial has been established.
