Delores Bradley Obituary Delores Elizabeth Hampton Bradley, 89 of Keokuk IA went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 20, 2018. Delores was born March 16, 1929 in Keokuk, IA the daughter of William McKinley and Edna McGruder Hampton. She was united in marriage to Raymond V. Bradley Sr. on September 5, 1953. He preceded her in death. Delores was a lifelong resident of Keokuk, Ia. She retired from Henniges Automotive (UTA) after over 30 years of service. She was owner and operator of Ray Bradley and Sons Hauling and the Bradley Rentals for over 50 years. Delores was an active member of New Bethel Church, where she served as the Chairman of the Ladies Aide Committee. She became well known for her pies, especially her chicken pie. She also gave of her many talents and abilities to the Church including her wonderful singing voice. Delores was co-founder of Hope Center Outreach. She participated in several mission trips and outreach in and out of the community, always giving from her heart. She enjoyed making quilts, needlepoint and was an excellent seamstress. Delores was an honorary member of the Rotary Club. She enjoyed spending time with her children, family and friends always giving herself to what was needed. She touched many lives with her loving caring and giving spirit. Delores is survived by 5 daughters, Jacqueline Scott (Joseph), Katherine Braggs(Ronnie) and Debra Letcher(Samuel) all of Keokuk, IA Sondra Hickman(Mayes) of Rock Island Il and Mona Fletcher(Edward) of Quincy, IL., one son Raymond V. Bradley Jr (Chastity) of Hamilton IL., two stepsons, Raymond L Bradley (Irene) of Central Islip, NY and Robert Bradley (Ruth) of Danville, NC., 33 grandchildren, 81 great grandchildren and 35 great great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, both parents, 4 sisters, Rosemary Buckner, Eckstein Galbreath, Maxine Buckner, and Darlene Snively, 1 brother McKinley Hampton and two great grand children. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at New Bethel Church. Visitation will be from noon to 2pm, with services beginning at 2pm. Pastor, Debra Letcher will officiate. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Hope Center or New Bethel Church.
