Dwaine White Jr. Obituary Dwaine Joseph White, Jr., 60, of Nauvoo, Illinois died at 9:15 pm on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at his home. He was born on September 6, 1952, in Keokuk, Iowa a son to Dwaine Joseph and Joann Margaret Trugagos White, Sr. Dwaine married Pamela Picton on November 7, 1969 in Kahoka, Missouri. She survives. Dwaine lived the past twenty years in Oregon, Illinois, moving to Nauvoo in March 2012. He was employed with the Local 150 as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hamilton, Illinois and a member of the Knights of Columbus in Oregon, Illinois. His faith was a joy in his Life. He loved fishing, and his family and grandchildren. The family would like to extend their appreciation for the help they received from Blessing Hospice, specifically Lynn Fecht. Besides his wife, Dwaine is survived by three sons: James White and his wife Jessica of Hiawatha, Iowa, Jerry White of Hillsboro, Illinois, Larry White and his wife Kari of North Liberty, Iowa; eight grandchildren: Joseph and Justin Parson, Austin, Tyler, Logan, Niko, Zoe and Constantine White; brothers & sisters: Marjorie (Charles) Seiferd, Mark (Ronda) White, Eric (Ginger) White, Virginia "Ginny" White, Joann (Cevin) Coffield, his mother-in-law Helen Picton, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Charlotte White, and both sets of grandparents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Friday, March 22, 2013 at All Saints Catholic Church in Keokuk with Rev. Tom Szydlik officiating. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk, Iowa Visitation will be after 3 pm on Thursday at DeJong-Greaves Celebration of Life Centers located at 917 Blondeau St. in Keokuk with family meeting with friends from 6 to 8. There will be a Christian Vigil Service at 7:30. Memorials may be made to Blessing Hospice.
