George McFarland Obituary George C. McFarland, 64 of Montrose, Iowa, formerly of Keokuk, died at 5:40 p.m., Monday, November 23, 2009 at Keokuk Area Hospital. He was born on December 5, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania the son of Eugene Stewart and Kathryn McFarland. He lived most of his life in Keokuk, Iowa. He was a production worker for a Coke bottling Company and then later worked was a handyman. He is survived by one brother, Ron Stewart of Keokuk, Iowa; two sisters, Donna Stewart Harris of Denver, Colorado; Barbara Stewart Bell of Denver, Colorado; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father. A private burial will be at a later date at Oakland Cemetery. There will be no visitation or services.
