Sherry Coovert Obituary Sherry J. Coovert, 69, of Keokuk, died Saturday morning, July 9, 2011, at her home. Sherry was born October 14, 1941, in Keokuk, the daughter of William F. "Bud" and Darlene Nye Collier. On May 18, 1961, she married Keith Coovert at First Christian Church in Keokuk. He survives. Sherry had lived in Keokuk most of her life and had worked at Merle Norman Cosmetics and later operated a health food store in Keokuk. For the past twenty years she and Keith produced and sold white oak baskets. Her family was a very important part of her life.
