Arthur Roesler Obituary Arthur James Roesler, 74, of Carthage, formerly of New York, passed away at his home Monday evening, November 13, 2023. Arthur was born November 21, 1948, in Queens, New York, the son of John and Emma (Fetter) Roesler. On October 9, 1971, he was united in marriage to Cathy Lee Snyder in Queens, New York. She preceded him in death in 2014. Arthur worked in the computer sciences in New York, retiring to Carthage in 2014. He is a member of the Burnside Christian Church and was a passionate hobbyist of Lionel Model Trains. Arthur is survived by three children, Theresa (David) Curtin of Smithtown, New York, Daniel (Michelle) Roesler of Allentown, Pennsylvania and Jennifer (Richard) Portchmouth of Thorpe, England; five grandchildren, Ryan Curtin, Olivia, Kayla and Danny Roesler and Harrison Portchmouth; three brothers, Robert (Janet) Roesler of New Jersey, Jimmy Roesler of New York and John (Kevin) Snyder of Texas; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Cathy; and four siblings. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Printy Funeral Home in Carthage. Visitation will be held from Noon until the time of services at 2:00. Burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Burnside Christian Church.
