Beverly Miller Obituary Beverly Jean Miller, 66, of Keokuk, died at 10:02 AM Saturday, October 13, 2007, at Keokuk Area Hospital.
Mrs. Miller was born August 22, 1941, at St. Joseph Hospital in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Cecil and Alberta Shipe Bolt. She married Kenneth G. Miller on August 26, 1956 in Keokuk. He survives.
She had lived in Warsaw for 43 years before moving to Keokuk eight years ago. She had worked as a caregiver at the Keokuk Area Group Home. She was of the Methodist Faith. She enjoyed cooking and collecting cookbooks and was an avid watcher of Food Network and Home Shopping Network. She loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth G. Miller of Keokuk; three children: Janet J. Maag and her husband, Pat, of Warsaw, Illinois; Sherri K. Lowman and her husband, Steven, of Hamilton, Illinois; Rodney G. Miller and his girlfriend, Karen Prewitt, of Hamilton, Illinois; six grandchildren, Heath Lowman and his wife, Lori; Stephanie Fortado and her husband, Tom; Alan Ross; Michael Maag; Matthew Ross; Megan Maag; six great grand children, Lindsey Gillmore, Tony Fortado, Malarie Ross, Tyler Fortado, Aden Ross, Cole Fortado; three sisters, Ann Foley and her husband, Jerry, of Warsaw, Illinois; Patty Baumann and her husband, Calvin, of Basco, Illinois; Cheryl Bolt of Carthage, Illinois
stepmother, Ruth Bolt of Carthage, Illinois
several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services were Tuesday, October 16, 2007, at DeJong's Funeral Home with Shawn DeJong and Conrad Thompson officiating. Burial followed at Keokuk National Cemetery.
