Carol Melvin Obituary Carol Melvin, 77, of Keokuk, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at her home in Keokuk. Carol was born on August 10, 1945, in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of George Ford and Mary Louise (Stice) Kennedy. She was employed in telecommunications for the Sheriffs Department and later for the Keokuk Police Department for many years. She retired on May 31, 2010. Carol enjoyed spending her time playing computer games. No services will be held at this time. Memorials may be directed to PAWS Animal Shelter.
