Carolyn Muegge, 75, of Hamilton, passed away at 5:08 AM, Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the Montrose Health Center.

Carolyn was born February 28, 1950, the daughter of Dewey and R.E. (Lee) Massey in Leachville, Arkansas. She attended Hamilton High School graduating in 1970. She was united in marriage to Russell Muegge at the First Christian Church in in Hamilton in 1972. He preceded her in death on January 12th of this year. Carolyn had worked for Methode Electronics in Carthage for twenty-seven years. She enjoyed cooking and raising her children.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Tausha Higgins of Coralville, Iowa and Ryan (Courtney) Muegge of Blandinsville, Illinois; a granddaughter, Emmilynn Muegge; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded by in death by her parents; husband, Russell; all her siblings, Maxine Campbell, Lucille Thomas, Jack Massey, Raymond Massey, Junior Massey, Jewel Dean Kelly and Joe E. Massey.

The family would like to thank the Montrose Healthcare Center and Everystep Hospice for the excellent care of Carolyn.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 10th, 2026, at Printy Funeral Home in Hamilton with family meeting friends from 10:00 AM until time of services at noon. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association. Printy Funeral Home of Hamilton is in charge of arrangements.
