Christine Ergle Obituary Christine "Chris" Ergle, 56, of Keokuk, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Birkwood Village in Fort Madison, Iowa. Chris was born on May 28, 1968, in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Jack and Sandy Kay. Chris was united in marriage to Norris Ergle in Fort Pierce, Florida, in May of 1989. They were later divorced. Chris held various occupations throughout the years, her favorite being cleaning, and she could fix almost anything. She liked making people happy and helped everyone she could. Chris is survived by her daughter Sandra Ergle of Keokuk; her mother Sandy Woolson of Keokuk; her brother Larry Kay of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; her sister Pamela (Lloyd) McVay of Warsaw; and several nieces, nephews and cousins, including her special niece Jaci Kay. Chris is preceded in death by her father Jack Kay, her sister Barbara Kay, her grandparents and her aunts and uncles. Cremation rites have been accorded, and a celebration of life service will be held at 3 pm on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Printy Funeral Home, 917 Blondeau Street, Keokuk, Iowa.
