D. Alizabeth Lawton Obituary Dana "Alizabeth" Lawton, 47, of Quincy, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Saint Johns Hospital in Springfield, Illinois. Alizabeth was born on May 20, 1976, in Frankfurt, Germany, the daughter of Dawn Richards. She was employed at Dollar General in Quincy and was known for her dark sense of humor. She was a fun person with a huge heart, and there was nothing she wouldnt do for her family. Every time she went shopping, you knew she was bringing home something for her grandchildren. Alizabeth loved rock and roll, and passed that love down to her children. Alizabeth is survived by three children: Saydie (Jimmy) Kirby of Warsaw, Illinois, Steyvan (Chloe) Lawton-Logsdon of Quincy, Illinois, and Seyth Lawton-Logsdon of Vandelia, Missouri; five grandchildren: Abiigail Grove, Alyla Logsdon, Liam Zanger, Hazley Carel and Emberlynn Logsdon; and her sister Devin Lawton of Quincy. Alizabeth is preceded in death by her mother. A memorial service will be held at 12 pm (Noon) on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Printy Funeral Home in Warsaw, Illinois. A private family burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw. Visitation will be held at Printy Funeral Home in Warsaw on Saturday from 10 am to 12 pm (Noon) directly before the service.
