Delbert Haage Obituary Delbert Haage, 85, of Keokuk, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2015, at his home in Keokuk, Iowa.
Delbert was born on August 20, 1930, in Missouri, the son of Ernest John and Elma Dickson Haage. On June 25, 1949, he was united in marriage to Janet Egley in Wayland, Missouri. She survives.
A lifelong resident of Keokuk, Delbert attended New Testament Christian Church in Keokuk, and was employed as a foreman at Shellor-Globe.
Delbert is survived by his wife Janet of Keokuk, his son Delbert Edwin Haage of Keokuk, Iowa; his two daughters: Barbara Briggs of Wayland, Missouri; and Peggy (Walter) Tweedy of Montrose, Iowa; his sister Elsie (Norman) Ewart of Kahoka, Missouri; and his sister-in-law Darlene Haage. Other survivors include eleven grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, eleven great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Delbert is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Wilber and Glenn, and one grandson BJ.
A graveside service celebrating his life will be held at 3:30 PM on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at Frazee Cemetery in Missouri. A procession to the cemetery will leave at 3 PM from DeJong-Greaves Celebration of Life Center located at 917 Blondeau Street in Keokuk. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015, from 2 to 7 PM, with family meeting friends from 5 to 7 PM at DeJong-Greaves Celebration of Life Center at 917 Blondeau Street.
