Donald Stepp Obituary Donald Lee Stepp, 75, of Carthage, passed away early Saturday morning, December 14, 2013 at his home. Donald was born September 11, 1938, the son of William Edward and Milicent Irene (Inman) Stepp in Keokuk, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Linda Kaye Kerr in Monahans, Texas on October 18, 1975. Don worked in the oil fields in Texas and most recently for Montebello Manor Health Care Center in Hamilton retiring in 2001. Donald is survived by his wife, Linda, of Carthage; a daughter, Cindy Welch of Hamilton; three sons, Kenyon Barrett of Amarillo, TX, Kevin Barrett of Dallas, TX and Kem (Lalonnie) Barrett of Midland, TX; six grandchildren; and 2 great grandsons; a brother, Everett (Carolyn) Stepp of Hamilton; three sisters, Irene Cantrell of Bell Buckle, TN, Diana (Steve) Reed of Alexandria, MO and Darlene (John) Search of Colchester, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Eldon and Chuck Stepp and a brother in infancy; and a sister, Shirley Tripp. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday morning, December 19, 2013 at Printy Funeral Home in Carthage. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 Wednesday evening.
