Donald Williams Obituary Donald Kay Williams, age 74 passed away at home on January 17, 2022. Don was born in Keokuk, Iowa, to the late Wendell and Florine Williams of Basco, Illinois. He learned the value of hard work on his family farm. He had a career at Caterpillar, Inc for over 40 years. Don is survived by his wife Virginia Kiser of 55 years and his three sons David Williams (Mary Grace) of Clayton, NC, Joe Williams (Allissa) of Rosedale, IN, and Mark Williams (Sara) of Fuquay Varina, NC, grandchildren who he adored, Virginia Grace, Elijah, Hannah and Harper. In his earlier years, he enjoyed woodworking, coaching little league, leading boy scouts and he was very involved with his sons. He built his home in Eureka, Illinois, where he raised his children. In retirement, he enjoyed RV traveling with his wife and spending time with his grandchildren. He is well-loved and greatly missed.
