Edwin Lindner Obituary Edwin Laverne Lindner, 58, of Keokuk, Iowa died Wednesday, October 2, 2002 at 11:05 A.M. at Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, Iowa. Edwin Lindner was born on December 14, 1943 in Keokuk. He was the son of Carl Lindner and Ida Means Lindner Reisner. He had lived most of his life in Keokuk and was self-employed as a mechanic. He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ. He was a collector of antique cars, enjoyed many friends, loved animals, and always lived his life to the fullest. Survivors include his mother, Ida Reisner of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; sister, Doris Van Alst of Stockport, Iowa; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; his stepfather, Emery Reisner; a brother, Fredric; and grandparents. A memorial service was held Sunday, October 6, 2002 at DeJong's Funeral Home in Keokuk with Reverend Paul Pennington officiating. The body was cremated. A memorial has been established.
