Jared Brisby Obituary Jared K. Brisby, 24, of Farmington, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at his home in Farmington. Jared was born on June 8, 1999, in Keokuk, Iowa, the son of Kent Brisby. He graduated from Central Lee High School in 2018 and went on to play one year of football at Iowa Central College. He pursued a career as an electrical lineman, but his true love was farming, especially raising cattle. Jared was a proud member of IBEW and loved competing in the rodeo. He had a smile that could light up a room, and had a genuine, fun-loving heart. He loved three things in life: his farm, his family and his dogs. Jared is survived by his father Kent (Tammy LeMaster) Brisby of Montrose, Iowa; two sisters: Allison (Ethan) Hellweg of Donnellson, Iowa, and Daly (Gus Overstreet) Brisby of Montrose; his grandmother Kathy Lynn Bollin of Keokuk; and one niece or nephew on the way. Jared is preceded in death by three grandparents: Michael Bollin, and Gene and Judy Brisby; and his uncle Scot Brisby. Jareds life will be celebrated with a graveside service at 10 am on Friday, June 30, 2023, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Nauvoo, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Thursday, June 29, at DeJong-Greaves-Printy Funeral Home in Keokuk. Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be decided at a later date.
