Jeffrey 'Jeff' Felgar Obituary Jeffrey Alan Felgar, 42, of St. Charles, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at his home. Jeff was born on September 25, 1982, in Quincy, Illinois, the son of Bill and Debbie (Massey) Felgar. He graduated from Keokuk High School in 2001 and went to John Wood Community College. He then completed his academic career at the University of Iowa, graduating in 2006. Jeff played baseball for John Wood Community College and walked onto the University of Iowa baseball team as a pitcher. He worked in marketing for Roquette in Keokuk before transferring to the Chicagoland area to work at the Roquette University and Office Complex. He then went on to work for IRI Symphony Group (Later Circana) in Chicago, Illinois, continuing his career as a marketing analyst. He attended the Church of the Nazarene and, in his younger years, competed throughout the area in Bible quizzing. He loved sports, briefly serving as an assistant coach for Keokuk High School Baseball, and cheered on the St. Louis Cardinals and the Iowa Hawkeyes. He enjoyed learning about Keokuk history and loved muscle cars. Jeff is survived by his parents Bill and Debbie Felgar of Keokuk; his brother Thomas "Tom" (Stefanie) Felgar of Elgin, Illinois; two nieces: Addison "Addi" and Emerson "Emmy" Felgar, both of Elgin; aunts and uncles: Larry (Jean) Massey of Canton, South Dakota, Donna Massey, Steve Massey, both of Hamilton, and Kim Harper of Hannibal, Missouri; and several cousins. Jeff is preceded in death by his grandparents, Gary and Shirley Felgar, Leroy Massey and Marjorie Massey; his aunt, Linda Massey; and one cousin, Brooke Massey. Funeral services will be held at 12 pm (Noon) on Monday, February 24, 2025, at Printy Funeral Home, 917 Blondeau Street, Keokuk, Iowa, with burial to follow at Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 9 am to 12 pm (Noon) directly before the service. Memorials may be directed to Keokuk Sports Boosters for the baseball program.
