John Cameron Obituary John Culkin Cameron Jr., 65 of St. Francisville, MO died at 6:15 am on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. He was born on February 4, 1946 in Keokuk, IA the son of John Culkin Sr. and Vera Fern Repplinger Cameron. John married Marilyn K. Ludwick on October 4, 1969 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Kahoka, MO. She survives. John graduated from Kahoka Public High School with the class of 1964. He farmed with his father as he grew up. John worked at Armour Foods for 38 years. He played in the band Tin Star with his brother Lawrence and friends Dan, Brian, Jim and Bob. The biggest love in John's life was his family. John is survived by his wife Marilyn of St. Francisville, MO; one son: John C. Cameron III of St. Louis, MO; two daughters: M. Courtney Cameron of LaCrosse, WI and Amanda M. Cameron of Kahoka, MO; two grandsons: Tyler John Sparks of LaCrosse, WI and Cameron Dean Greer of Kahoka, MO; a brother and three sisters: Janet Cameron of Keokuk, Jeanne Alberton and her husband Marc of Atlanta, IL, Clare Schmidt and her husband Richard of Lincoln, IL and Lawrence Cameron of Keokuk; three sisters-in-law: Joan Arnot of Agency, IA, Ruth Ludwick of Gorin, MO and Carol Peterie of Toledo, IA. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. John was preceded in death by: his parents; mother-in-law: Mable H. Ludwick; father-in-law: W.C. Ludwick; and two brothers-in-law: Gail Ludwick and Wes Arnot. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 15, at All Saints Catholic Church in Keokuk with Rev. Robert Lathrop officiating. Burial will be in Sand Cemetery in St. Francisville, MO. Visitation will be after 3:00 pm on Friday with family meeting with friends from 7 to 9 at DeJong-Greaves Celebration of Life Centers located at 1212 Concert St. in Keokuk. There will be a rosary at 6:30. Memorials may be made to Cancer research.
