John Herman Spiker, 78, of Argyle, passed away at home.
John was born January 8, 1948, in Keokuk, Iowa, the son of Charles and Katherine (Johnson) Spiker. He attended Central Lee High School graduating in 1967. He had worked for Metzel and Trellex-Morse in Keokuk for many years. He loved hunting and fishing and was a lifetime member of the NRA and was a gun rights advocate.
John is survived by his siblings, Lola Frazee, Sylvia (Ed) West, Evonne (Raymond) Young-Case, and Alfred (Juliene) Spiker; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Patricia; and two brothers-in-law, David Frazee and Donald Young.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Printy Funeral Home in Keokuk. Family will meet friends from 5:00 PM until time of services at 7:00 at Printy Funeral Home in Keokuk.
Memorials may be directed to Heart Song Adult Day Services in Burlington, Iowa.
Printy Funeral Home of Keokuk is in charge of arrangements.
