Keith Lawson Obituary Keith Alan Lawson, 62, passed away March 10, 2024, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy with his brother-in-law by his side. Keith was born July 6, 1961, in Carthage, IL to Thomas "Clifford" and Geraldine "Geri" Lawson. He participated in wrestling, football, and golf in school. He graduated from Carthage High School in 1979. Keith had worked at Fort Madison Penitentiary, Varner Trucking and retired from Bergman Farm Supply. Keith lived all his life in Carthage with the exception after retiring, he moved to Lafayette Square in Macomb. Keith enjoyed feeding birds & squirrels and watching car races. He had also served as a crew member for race teams. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Carol Lynn Lawson and Norma "Jane" Wetterich; brothers Delbert and Dean Lawson; sister in laws Marlys and Jane Ann Lawson; nieces spouse Mike Ogle; nephews spouses Teri and Lorrie Lawson; great nephew Brett Lawson and Keiths beloved boxer Zoe. Left to celebrate his life and mourn his passing are his brother-in-law Merton Wetterich; nieces, Lea (Greg) Griffiths and Annetta Ogle; nephews Vince (Michele) Lawson, Curtis Lawson, Kevin Lawson, Jay (Andrea) Lawson and Spencer (Nicole) Lawson; and several great nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Moss Ridge Cemetery in Carthage at 1 p.m., July 6th, Keiths birthday. Printy Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
