Kenneth Reidner Obituary Kenneth Wayne Reidner, 82, of Carthage, passed away at his home Tuesday, August 27, 2024. The son of Ralph and Gladys (Stevenson) Reidner born in Adrian, Illinois. He attended Carthage High School. He later attended Tabernacle Baptist College after leaving the Mormon Church and became an ordained pastor. He was united in marriage to Beverly Brillhart at the Church of the Latter Day Saints in Keokuk, Iowa on August 24, 1958 and was married for 24 years prior to divorcing. To this marriage came children, Jamie Ray(9/1/59), Lisa Ann Larson (12/22/61) and Scott Alan (12/2/64). Grandchildren Duncan Reidner, Jessica Mohn, Megan Larson, Linsey RayAnne Reidner. Great grandchildren Kaylee, Rylan, Annabelle, Ryker and Jack. His son Jamie Ray passed on August 29,2014 from cancer. He is survived by his children, grandchildren and sister Joan Gjesdahl, Palm Bay, Florida Predeceased by his parents and son Jamie Ray, siblings Lyle, Lloyd, Eldon, Fred, Charles, and Wendell Reidner, Zelda Grisham, Ida Hastings, Eula Kellett-Richards, Irma Russell and Norma Thompson. Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Calvary Baptist Church in Keokuk. Burial to followed in Moss Ridge Cemetery in Carthage. Friends gathered at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of services at the church at 10:00 AM on Tuesday. Memorials may be directed to Calvary Baptist Church in Keokuk.
