Kenneth Vermazen Obituary Kenneth A. Vermazen, 61, a lifelong resident of Keokuk, passed away at his residence on Monday, June 2, 2014. He was born October 25, 1952, to Roger J. and Betty Jean Banghart Vermazen in Keokuk. Kenny is survived by his sister and brother, Julie Jean Downey of Austin, Minnesota and Roger Jeffery Vermazen (Elaine) of Auburn, Washington, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A private family service has been held, and he will be buried in Oakland Cemetery.
