Kevin Tones Obituary Kevin Lee "Buzz" Tones, 55, of Carthage, passed away at his home Wednesday, February 23, 2022, in Carthage. Kevin was born April 1, 1966, the son of James and Vivian (Mason) Tones in Macomb, Illinois. He graduated from Colchester High School in 1984. On April 30, 1994, he was united in marriage to Kasey Hetzel in Colchester. They later divorced. Kevin enjoyed fishing and attending sprint car races in Burlington with his son. He loved the Chicago Bears and truck driving and his CDL was his passion. Kevin is survived by his son, Kyle Tones, of Kankakee; mother, Vivian Richardson of Warsaw; a brother, Lonnie Tones of Columbia; sister, Tina Tones of Keokuk; stepbrother, Dave Calhoun of Montrose, Iowa; seven nieces, Rachael, Madison, Katelyn, Kortney, Cierra, Alexis and Selena; a nephew, Xavier; two aunts, Sharon Tones and Janice McCoy; an uncle, Steven Tones; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, James Tones; stepfather, Norman Richardson; a nephew Roger; and an uncle Delbert Tones. Graveside services will be held at Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw at 11:00 AM Monday, March 14th, 2022. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 PM Saturday, March 12th, 2022, at Printy Funeral Home in Carthage. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family for funeral expenses.
