Larry Padgett Obituary Larry Eudean Padgett, 74, of Keokuk, IA, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in Burlington, IA. Larry was born in Elaine, AR, on May 16, 1950. He was the son of William and Lillian (Ferguson) Padgett. Larry served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970 until he was honorably discharged. In 1972 he was united in marriage to Vickie Hamelton, they later divorced. Larry worked many jobs throughout his life. He liked to fish and spend time with his dogs. He enjoyed traveling and was a very good cook. Larry is survived by his partner, Kim Dieterich of Keokuk, IA, his four sons, Larry Shawn (Erin) Padgett of Sparks, NV, Steven (Christina) Padgett of Keokuk, IA, Shayne (Amber) Padgett of Quincy, IL, Jamie (Dorie) Padgett of Keokuk, IA, his 18 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren, his brothers, Billy Peeples, Jesse Padgett, and his sisters, Mary Sandoval and Frances Locke. He is preceded in death by his parents, his cousins and great friends, Ronnie Ferguson, and Shelby Anderson. Celebration of life to be held at a later time.
