Linda Foster, age 84, of Colfax, WI, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2026 at her home.

She was born April 25, 1942 in Chicago, IL to George Edward Smith and Mildred Genevieve (Price) Smith. She grew up in Keokuk, IA and graduated from Keokuk High School in 1960. Linda married Milton Byron Foster September 29, 1962 at Keokuk Presbyterian Church. They had two children. They lived most of their lives in Muscatine, IA. Linda enjoyed baking, gardening, her family, and traveling with Milton.

Linda is survived by her husband Milton of Colfax, WI; son Todd (Julie) Foster of Yukon, OK; daughter Krista (Joe) Becker of Colfax, WI; grandchildren Alyssandra (Elijah) Wood; Marissa (Jared) Bello; Rachel, Lukas, Levi, and Lauren Becker; great-grandchildren Luca, Mariana, and Giorgio Bello; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mildred Smith as well as numerous pet dogs, most recently Muttly, Sammy, and Holly.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 15th, 2026 at Dejong-Printy Funeral Home in Keokuk, IA with Pastor John Lange officiating. Visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk, IA.
