Linda Hymes Obituary Linda Lu Hymes, 74, of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, formerly of Tioga, Illinois, passed away November 26, 2023, in St. Louis Park. Linda was born July 18, 1949, the daughter of Esten Ray and Esther Mae (Parker) Peterie in Fairfield, Iowa. She graduated from Gorin High School in 1967 and then went on to graduate from Youngs Beauty Academy in 1968. On January 5, 1974, Linda was united in marriage to Gerald F. Hymes in Macomb. Linda is survived by three children, Melisa Peterie of Hamilton, Illinois, Kristina Hymes of Fort Madison, Iowa and Russell Hymes of Sparta, Tennessee; her sister, Susan Gilbert of Keokuk, Iowa; and her significant other, Glenn Swart of St. Louis Park, Minnesota. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM at Keokuk National Cemetery on Friday, January 5, 2024. Printy Funeral Home of Hamilton is in charge of arrangements.
