Lucille Roskamp Obituary Lucille Roskamp, 100, a resident of Montebello Healthcare Center in Hamilton, formerly of Sutter, passed away at 2:25 P.M. Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the Montebello Healthcare Center in Hamilton. Lucille was born July 26, 1915, in the family home in Lima Township, Illinois, a daughter of Elmer and Elsie (Poulter) Brickman. On June 3, 1936 she was united in marriage to Edgar Roskamp in Springfield, Illinois. He preceded her in death on October 15, 2005. She attended school in Lima and was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ in Tioga. She loved to cook, read, crochet and always had lots of plants and flowers, but most of all she loved being with family. Lucille is survived by two sons, Gerald Roskamp of Sutter and Kenneth (Joyce) Roskamp of Hamilton; one daughter, Anita (Dale) Quimby of Warsaw; grandchildren, David Roskamp, Randy (Cindy) Roskamp, Mike (Gayle) Roskamp, Laurie (Clint) Hawkins, Jeff (Lisa) Quimby, Mark (Kacey) Quimby and Clay (Kayla) Quimby; great grandchildren, McKenna (Jeff Mason) Roskamp, Trenton (Maria) Roskamp, Christine (Deane) Morey, Jay (Kayla) Roskamp, Terry (Lori) Roskamp, Tyler (Becky) Roskamp and Dustin (Jennifer) Roskamp, Noelle (Todd) Cosby, Layton and Paxton Hawkins, Carter, Caden and Colt Quimby, Ellie Edwards, Ryne, Kamdyn and Fletcher Quimby; great great grandchildren, Aidon Sammons and Bayleigh Cosby, Dayton and Josh Conkright, Emma and Josiah Morey, Fletcher, Koltyn, Connor, Logan and Lawson Roskamp; one sister, Elma Jean Knox of Quincy; two sisters-in-law, Elma and Vera Roskamp of Sutter; and two special nieces, Barb McClellan and Patti Mcginley of Quincy. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a daughter-in-law, Evalyn Roskamp; a granddaughter-in-law, Barb Roskamp; a grandson, Ronald Roskamp; and a special cousin, Ermal Rabe. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Bethany United Church of Christ in Tioga with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until time of services at the church. Memorials in the name of Lucille Roskamp have been established for the Bethany United Church of Christ in Tioga or Blessing Hospice. Printy Funeral Home of Warsaw is in charge of arrangements.
