Margaret Schreacke Obituary Margaret Lenora "Peggy" Schreacke, 60, of Hamilton, passed away at 11:35 A.M. Monday, November 21, 2016, at her home. Peggy was born July 12, 1956, the daughter of Orland and Pat (Metternich) Redenius in Carthage, Illinois. She attended Carthage High School graduating in 1974. On March 20, 1976, she was united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Savage. He preceded her in death in 1999. On September 20, 2011, she was united in marriage to John Schreacke at the Bethlehem United Church of Christ Church near Sutter. He survives. Peggy had worked at Keokuk Area Hospital in the dietary department for several years. She enjoyed riding the Harley-Davidson and especially enjoyed time with her family. Peggy is survived by her husband, John, of Hamilton; children, Michelle Tinder of Keokuk, Rex (Kori) Savage of Hamilton and Adam (Niki) Schreacke of Loraine; seven grandchildren, Madison, Jetta and Dean Tinder, Lance and Chloe Schreacke, Joey Savoie and Loklon Akers; six siblings, Janice (Roy) Isaacs of Decatur, Beth Redenius of Bentley, Theresa Markey of Carthage, Diane DeJaynes of Pace, Florida, Andrew (Terry) Redenius of Carthage and Susan Robinson of Carthage; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Savage; and a son, Rhett, in 1985. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 26, 2016, at the Bethlehem United Church of Christ near Sutter with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday evening at Printy Funeral Home in Carthage with family meeting friends from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. A memorial fund has been established. Printy Funeral Home of Carthage is in charge of arrangements.
