Obituary

Michael Ray "Mickey" Londrie passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy at 10:45 AM due to natural causes.

Mickey was born May 18, 1952, the son of Kenneth and Helen (Jones) Londrie in Carthage, Illinois. He graduated from Carthage High School in 1972. He served in the United States Army as a Specialist receiving his Honorable Discharge on October 11, 1978. Mickey was the last draftee in Hancock County for the Vietnam War. He was united in marriage to Sharon Lemley in Burnside, Illinois in 1985. Earlier in life he worked for DX Station. He later worked with Lyle Lawson and was employed by the Champion Box Company, retiring in 2012.

Mickey is survived by his daughter, Cathy Jo (Travis) Devine of Warsaw; Granddaughter, Montanna Jo Devine (Johnny Petersheim); siblings, Gary (Marie) Londrie of Tonopah, AZ and Margie Russell of Buckeye, AZ; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents; wife, Sharon in 2004; five brothers, Joe, Randy, Sonny, Wayne and Max; and six sisters, Maxine Claire, Bonnie, Marcia, Lois, June, and Mitzie.

Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday, November 20, at Printy Funeral Home in Carthage. Graveside services will be held at Moss Ridge Cemetery with military rites on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Memorials may be directed to the family for college expenses of granddaughter, Montanna Devine. Printy Funeral Home of Carthage is in charge of arrangements.
