Paul Johnson Obituary Paul Eugene Johnson, 68, of Keokuk, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at his home in Keokuk. Paul was born on August 23, 1955, in Keokuk, Iowa, the son of Clarence and Dolores (Phillips) Johnson. On July 26, 2005, he was united in marriage to Candy Cross in Keokuk, Iowa. She survives. Paul worked as a material handler at Henniges Automotive for forty-seven years, and was a member of United Steel Workers Local #444. He was a simple man, enjoying watching Old Westerns, the Dallas Cowboys and Wrestling, and drinking cold Busch Light. Paul is survived by his wife Candy Johnson of Keokuk; three sons: Paul Eugene (Tabitha Rudd) Johnson, II of Keokuk, Mike (Megan) Johnson of Keokuk, and Patrick Johnson of Olathe, Kansas; his stepson Cody (Kaitlyn) Stinson of Keokuk; four siblings: Dorothy Ann Kensutt of Fort Madison, Michael Ray (Joyce) Johnson of Montrose, Pamela Muenchow of Fountain Hills, Arizona, Teresa Sue (Paul) Goedicke of Altus, Oklahoma; and nine grandchildren. Other survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jim Leroy Johnson, his infant son Brandon Johnson, and his infant granddaughter Jaylynn Marie Francis. Pauls life will be celebrated with a time of visitation and sharing of memories from 1 to 3 pm on Friday, November 10, 2023, at DeJong-Greaves-Printy Funeral Home in Keokuk.
