Richard Barber Obituary Richard Lee Barber, 82, of Warsaw, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in Burlington, Iowa. Richard was born on November 27, 1939, in Keokuk, Iowa. He was employed at Armour-Dial until he retired and loved spending time with his family. Some of his other favorite hobbies included riding motorcycles, fishing, hunting, boating and woodworking. Richard was a man of many talents and loved riding his scooter around town and helping Richie fix his car. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Army. Richard is survived by two sons: Richard L. (Pam) Barber, Jr. and Randy Barber; his grandson Harley Jones; and three great-grandchildren: Tara (Caleb) Jones, Wyatt Jones and Ruby Jones. Richard is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Jean (Dedman) Barber, his wife Karen, his grandson Richard L. Barber, III, and two brothers: Jim and Dave Barber. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Monday, April 25, 2022, at Printy Funeral Home in Warsaw. Burial with military honors will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw. Military honors will be rendered by the United States Army and the Hancock County Honor Guard. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 to 6 pm.
