Rita White Obituary Rita Evelyn White, 81, of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of Keokuk, passed away at Woodcrest Home for Senior Citizens in San Antonio on August 17, 2014. Rita was born on January 25, 1933, to Wilbur and Minnie Hammond Hilgenbrinck in Quincy, Illinois. On February 5, 1951, she was united in marriage to Bobby White. He preceded her in death on July 22, 1997. Rita was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and a devoted homemaker. She was a lifelong devoted Catholic and always put others before herself. She was a loving individual who always had a smile on her face. Rita is survived by her son Robert (Mercedes) White of San Antonio, Texas; her daughter Kimberly Yerhart (John) of Knoxville, Tennessee; two grandsons, Peter Yerhart and Tony (Kim) White; great granddaughter, Haylie; her brother Charles Hilgenbrinck (Nancy) of Freeport, Illinois; and her sister MaryAnn Higgins. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, two sisters, Letha and Wanita and granddaughter Tana. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00 am on Friday, August 22, 2014, at All Saints Catholic Church in Keokuk, with Reverend Robert Lathrop officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk. Memorials may be directed to All Saints Catholic Church.
