Ronald Gene Garrelts, 88, of New Lenox, IL, formerly of Carthage, IL, with deep sadness, is resting in the arms of Jesus. Ronald passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at The Cottages of New Lenox, IL.
A funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Carthage with burial to follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery just south of Carthage. Visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 10am. Memorials may be made out to the Hearts of Hancock Humane Society. Printy Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
